The Inspiring Journey of Rokkit Crafts
We all appreciate a good origin story, and Rokkit Crafts has one that truly stands out. What began as a personal challenge for our founder, Ruth Jacob O'Keefe, has blossomed into a thriving business.
In 2017, Ruth's eldest child expressed a desire to attend a prestigious but costly STEM program. Driven by her passion for crafts, Ruth embarked on a fundraising journey. The initial attempts were not without their challenges, often resulting in #PinterestFails. However, Ruth's persistence and dedication paid off.
Her craft skills improved, and by 2018, the demand for her unique fiber crafts had grown significantly within her community. This led to the establishment of Rokkit Crafts. Today, Rokkit Crafts not only features Ruth's creations but also showcases the work of other talented artists she has connected with along her journey.

Ruth is a proud single mother of three (plus several beloved furbabies) and is the owner of this woman-owned small business in Westborough, MA. Through Rokkit Crafts, she channels her love for crafting into beautiful fiber art, sharing her creations with a growing community of admirers.

In the moments between her busy genetics work and driving her boys to and from activities in Atlanta, Georgia, Dawn Laney realized that she needed a creative outlet of her own. Dawn found that designing and making beautiful sparkly trinkets bring joy and her art aims to supply others with everyday pieces that can do just that.

In her free time she uses her love of yarn to weave magic into her crochet and indulges in various artistic pursuits.
