The latest version of the pattern is written below, so you’ll have everything you need to create the most up-to-date, adorable version of your little monster!


Supplies:

Blanket Yarn: Green, Black

Acrylic Yarn: Black, Red

20mm Glitter Safety Eyes

Fiber Fill

Scissors

Stitch Markers

Embroidery’s Needle


Start with black blanket yarn

1: 8 single crochet (sc) into a Magic Ring (8)

2: sc increase (inc) x 8 (16)

3: (sc, inc) x 8 (24)

4:  Back loop only (BLO) sc around (24)

5: sc around (24)

Change to green

6 - 14: sc around (24)

Place eyes between row 11 and 12, 4 stitches apart

Place scar between row 8 and 10

Place mouth between rows 13 and 14

Place eyebrows directly above the eyes

15: sc x5, change to black, 5 loop bobble, change to green, sc x 11, change to black, bobble, change to green, sc x 6 (24)

16: BLO sc around (24)

Start stuffing - be careful not to overstuff or it will appear rounded instead of flat

17: decrease (dec) x 8 (12)

18: dec around (6)

Stuff

Finish off and sew closed.
