A butterfly is beautiful, soft and delicate which represents the nature of those born with Krabbe disease. Their beauty comes out of much struggle and metamorphosis. A butterfly is very fragile and needs to be handled with much care. When a butterfly lands on you, you feel special - like you have been given a great gift just like Krabbe children. In addition, some of our Krabbe community have angel wings which look just a butterflies wings.
